ABOUT THE COMMUNITY / RULES

Loser Like Glee is a thread-based Glee RPG that started off on LiveJournal in March 2011. We have recently moved the game over to InsaneJournal in order to escape LJ downtime and be closer to the RPG community.

[info]llg_scenes - third person roleplaying
[info]llg_ooc - ooc & general insanity
[info]llg_au - for scenes and fics outside of the llg-verse

Our story splits off from the canon after Original Songs. We are essentially an AU with influences from the show.

The fight for Regionals is on and now that one of their own has been injured, New Directions plans to up their game! Will they be able to pull it together or will squabbles and romantic entanglements get in the way?

The Warblers themselves are a divided nation. Some think Sebastian's ruthless methods when dealing with the competition besmirch the Warbler name and everything it stands for, while others think it's time to stop playing Mr. Nice Guy and go after what they want.

Meanwhile Vocal Adrenaline is doing what it does best - almost non-stop rehearsals and mocking the competition in their brief off time.

Who will take home the Regionals trophy and earn a coveted spot at Nationals? Join us to find out!

Rules

1. Players should be seventeen years of age or older. This is to ensure that our players possess a certain level of maturity and will hopefully discourage underage users from reading adult material posted in the RP.

2. Activity is a must! Players filling prominent canon roles (example: members of New Directions) are required to participate in scenes and/or post journal entries at least once a week. We give a little more wiggle room to less central characters (Carmel, Dalton, and Crawford students, for example), but we would still like to see your face on a regular basis. If for some reason you will be unable to be active for a stretch of time, let us know by posting in the OOC comm!

3. Play nice! We're all big kids here. Remember that in character interactions are just that - in character. If someone’s character is unfriendly towards yours it does not mean that the writer does not like you. IC drama is fun, OOC drama is not. Let's try to avoid the second kind.

If you do run into a problem with another player, contact them privately and respectfully with your concerns and if the two of you are unable to settle the problem alone, you can swing by the Page-A-Mod post and a staff member will handle it. This is a last resort! We'd really like to see disputes handled through compromise and respect rather than the mod hammer.

4. Utilize proper spelling and grammar in your journal entries and scenes. Spell check and proof read your posts for errors. We want them to be as easy to read/reply to as possible!

5. While we are not a strictly canon RP, we would like to see canon characters maintain a strong resemblance to their on-screen counterparts. Alternate story lines are perfectly acceptable and, in fact, encouraged! But we would like the personality and characterization to remain recognizable.

6. Use your common sense and have fun :D
